- Event Cancelled..Love Food Hate Waste…. joint event between Blewbury WI and Blewbury Climate Change on the morning of March 14th. Please support this event. There will be fun and educational activities for us to learn and teach others about how we can avoid food waste. And free homemade soup and rolls!
There is no charge for attendance but places are limited so tickets will be available from the Post Office.
There will be displays and activities to inform and encourage people to waste less food. Home made soup will be provided. Entry is free but numbers are limited to 50, so tickets will be available from the Post Office. Please come to support this important venture. We at the WI have a lot of expertise and experience to share with the younger generations.
- Members were advised of several events in the sign-up book including the OFWI Annual Meeting;
- visit to London Postal Museum on April 27th;
- Blewbury Croquet Club Quiz Night on February 7th; Bowls triples competition in Oxford on April 15th.
- Members were asked if there was any interest in having another Film Afternoon…. There isn’t !!
- Jo Lakeland told us about an upcoming talk by Anthony Simpson at Blewbury Manor Barn on March 9th at 7.30pm entitled “The mind-blowing truth about our food”. Tickets £6 available from the Post Office.
